Presidential election results so far - APC now leading

The presidential election results for 18 states plus the FCT has so far been announced.

The APC has 10 states, while PDP has 8 states plus the FCT, Abuja.

APC is currently leading with 8,520,436 votes while PDP has 6,488,210 votes.
The election result announcement resumes later today by 10:am today.

Presidential election results so far, PDP in early lead

INEC has announced results for 8 states and the FCT, Abuja - (total 9) and so far PDP currently leading with 2,322,734 votes while APC has 2,302,978 votes, though APC won five states and PDP four states.

The commission will resume later tonight by 8pm to allow sufficient time for other states to bring in their results. Results for 27 states are still expected.
